Mac OS X Terminal commands packed in a simple and easy to use interface.

XLine was rejected by Apple for AppStore submission due to not enabling app sandbox. Well, you can't really enable sandbox for an app which is designed to reveal system hidden settings and customise them and, therefore, run out of sandbox. Anyway, XLine can be downloaded from our web page, free of charge, and current version supports the following functions:

01. Dock - Placement
Select preferred Dock Layout. Default is -Bottom-Center. Available options:
- Left-Top
- Left-Center
- Left-Bottom
- Bottom-Left
- Bottom-Center
- Bottom-Right
- Right-Top
- Right-Center
- Right-Bottom

02. Dock - Design
Select preferred Dock design.Default is -3D. Available options:
- 3D (bottom placement only)
- 2D

03. Dock - Stacks List View Design
Select preferred design for List View of Dock Stacks. Default is -Standard. Available options:
- Standard
- Alternative

04. Dock - Show Only Currently Active Apps
Default is -Disable.

05. Dock - Highlight Icon Inside Stack Grid View
Mouse Over Highlight icon in Dock stacks grid view. Default is -Disable.

06. Dock - Dim Hidden Apps Icons
When an app is hidden, dock icon of that app can be dimmed. Default is -Disable. (Does not apply to Closed or Minimised apps).

07. Finder - Hidden Files and Folders
Hide or Show hidden files and folders in Finder and on Desktop. Default is -Hide. (Wait 3-4 mins before running this line again).

08. Finder - Eject Disk
Alternative way of ejecting disk. Might help with jammed disks.

09. Finder - Display Full Path in Finder Tittle Bar
Display full path of active folder in Finder Title Bar. Default is -No.

10. Finder - User/Library folder
Hide or Show User/Library folder. Default is -Hide.

11. Finder - Disactivate Desktop
Selecting Yes will make Desktop inactive and hide all files and folders on Desktop. Default is -No.

12. Finder - Show Wallpaper Path on Desktop
Default is -No.

13. Finder - Set Default Save Location
If iCloud account is activated, Default is -iCloud, otherwise -Local.

14. Finder - Hide QuickLook Window When Finder Is Not In Front
Default is -No.

15. Launchpad - Reset
All Launchpad settings will be reset to system defaults, including deletion of custom Launchpad folders.

16. Mail - Mail Display Format
Relaunch Mail for settings to take effect. Default is -HTML.

17. Mail - Inline Image Attachments
Default is -Enable.

18. Mail - Copying Email Address in Mail
Relaunch Mail for settings to take effect.Default is -With Name.

19. Preview - Auto Open Last Document
Default is -Yes.

20. QuickTime - Auto Play Movies in QuickTime X
Default is -No.

21. QuickTime - Rounded Corners of QuickTime Player Video Window
Default is -Yes.

22. Screenshots - Set Default File Type of Screenshots to:
Default is -PNG. Available options:
- PNG
- JPG
- PDF
- TIFF
- BMP

23. Screenshots - Window Shadow
Does not apply to full screen Screenshots, i.e. "CMD SHIFT 4" only. Default is -Enable.

24. System - New Window Animation
Default is -Enable.

25. System - Extract List of All Running Processes
List of all running processes will be saved in "processes.txt" file on Desktop.

26. System - Purge Inactive Memory
While the line is executed, system may freeze for couple of seconds, after which inactive memory will be freed.

27. System - Apps Automatic Termination
If enabled, system will automatically quit idle applications. Default is -Enable.

The following default settings will be applied, regardless if the changes were done using XLine or any other application:
